As a SOC Task & Integration Lead, you will join the Security Operations Center team to serve as a first line of cyber defense for federal government networks. You will lead teams of analysts who monitor logs, forensic data, and threat intelligence to identify advanced threats that evade detection. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing patterns to understand attacker goals, advising clients on hardening network infrastructure, and developing enterprise-wide SOC concepts, policies, and procedures. The role requires expertise in network operations, incident response, and enterprise-level detection. You will utilize skills related to SIEM, SOAR, and UEBA capabilities while managing large analyst groups. Required qualifications include a Secret clearance, relevant cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or GCIH, and extensive experience in cybersecurity operations and technical guidance for critical infrastructure protection against constant cyber-attacks.
Respond to and mitigate cyber threats in real time to protect critical infrastructure.
Lead teams of analysts to identify advanced threats hidden within logs, forensic data, and threat intelligence.
Analyze attack patterns to determine adversary goals and stop successful breaches.
Advise clients on methods to close security gaps and harden their networks.
Develop enterprise-wide SOC concepts of operations, policies, and procedures.
Create and refine organizational processes, technical documentation, and guidance.
Manage large analyst groups performing monitoring, detection, and incident response.
What we're looking for
10+ years of experience in an IT or cybersecurity field.
3+ years of experience leading cybersecurity operations teams including managing large analyst groups for monitoring, detection, and incident response.
3+ years of experience assisting with developing enterprise-wide SOC concepts of operations, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of network operations, incident response, and enterprise level detection and monitoring.
Ability to create and refine organizational processes, documentation, and technical guidance.
HS diploma or GED.
Cybersecurity Certification such as CISSP, GCIH, GSOC, or GSOM (preferred); Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (preferred).
