SoC Power Spec Engineer

As an SoC Power Spec Engineer within the Silicon Engineering group, you will focus on modeling power dissipation for various IPs and applications, including AI/ML, Neural Engines, CPUs, Graphics, media IPs, caches, and fabric. You will work to optimize leading-edge chips for power-efficiency by defining power targets at the SOC level and managing power delivery in collaboration with architecture, system design, and product engineering teams. Your daily responsibilities involve modeling power dissipation for specific customer use-cases and partnering with lab and silicon characterization teams to correlate models with actual silicon data. The role requires deep knowledge of SoC architecture, VLSI design flow, CMOS technology, and thermal control loops. You will utilize scripting and data analysis skills to solve complex power management challenges within the mobile SoC design domain for high-performance hardware components.
