Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain infrastructure, tooling, and engineering services for cloud-based applications.
• Manage system bringup, deployment, reliability, security, and service scalability for production environments.
• Provide operational support for applications running on AWS and Apple infrastructure.
• Manage core technologies including Kubernetes (EKS), Elasticsearch, Redis, RDS, and ELB.
• Drive infrastructure architecture and solutions for hybrid cloud environments (on-prem and public cloud).
• Write code in high-level languages like Python to automate and support infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring and operations using tools such as Prometheus, Terraform, and Argo.
• Perform Linux kernel and system tuning to optimize production performance.

What we're looking for

• BS degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience building systems both on-premise and on public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience deploying and operating schedulers such as Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or EKS.
• Ability to write code in a high-level language (Python preferred).
• MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience) (preferred).
• 5+ years supporting large scale in production applications in an SRE role (preferred).
• 3+ years managing SRE teams and supporting mission critical applications (preferred).
• 3+ years of Hybrid Cloud infrastructure management (preferred).
