JOB TITLE: Site Reliability Engineer ELH - OneIT - Rochester, MN - 2027 IBM is seeking a motivated IT Administrator early professional hire to join the team and gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT systems management and reliability engineering. What you'll do

  • Maintain and support enterprise IT systems including servers, virtual machines, and cloud environments.

  • Document system configurations, operational procedures, and reliability metrics.
  • Support infrastructure operations and performance initiatives.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Master's Degree (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of operating systems including Linux, Unix, Windows, z/OS, and zVM.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud networking (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and monitoring tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Grafana.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD concepts, and Netbox (preferred).
  • Certifications such as Juniper JNCIA, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA (preferred).
