Site Operations Lead

What you'll do

• Oversee initial qualification training and maintain training records for new System Operators.
• Develop and facilitate monthly training events including slide deck creation and material presentation.
• Conduct routine proficiency evaluations and deliver targeted feedback or remedial training to operators.
• Develop, review, and maintain operator checklists and technical work instructions.
• Investigate system anomalies by documenting issues, collecting data, and performing limited troubleshooting.
• Serve as Site Transition Director during asset cutovers and major system transitions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.

What we're looking for

• Must possess an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent DoDM 8140.03 Information Assurance technical certification.
• Must have a Bachelor of Science with at least 2 years of relevant technical experience (Level 2) or 5 years (Level 3).
• Must have a Master's degree with at least 0 years of relevant technical experience (Level 2) or 3 years (Level 3).
• Must have strong proficiency with the bash shell, common Linux commands, FHS, and Linux file management.
• Must have a solid understanding of Cisco routers and switches, including routing protocols, IP addressing, and VLANs.
• Must be able to interpret log files, monitor active processes, and analyze performance metrics to diagnose anomalies.
• Experience working with GFC and GCN systems/applications (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware, Active Directory, VMware, and/or SolarWinds (preferred).
• Practical experience on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platforms (preferred).
• Additional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Red Hat RHCSA (preferred).
