The Senior SAP Test Manager – SIT & UAT joins the program delivery team to define and govern enterprise testing standards for a complex SAP transformation program. This role involves establishing methodologies for System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, including test planning, readiness criteria, and defect lifecycle management. You will lead readiness reviews, govern test design standards, and establish KPIs and dashboards to track execution progress and risks. Key responsibilities include coordinating UAT activities with business stakeholders, ensuring requirements traceability, and managing regression suite selection. The position requires expertise in software testing, quality engineering, and SAP application delivery. Define and govern enterprise SIT and UAT strategies, methodologies, quality standards, and readiness criteria.
Lead SIT readiness reviews and provide evidence-based recommendations for release-readiness and sign-off decisions.
Govern test design standards, requirements-to-test traceability, risk-based coverage, and reusable test assets.
Define and govern the defect lifecycle, including triage, root cause analysis, and service-level expectations.
Establish testing metrics, KPIs, and dashboards covering execution progress, test coverage, and defect trends.
Establish and govern the UAT approach, execution-readiness criteria, and business acceptance reporting.
Coordinate UAT activities and coach business users to validate end-to-end business processes.
Drive measurable improvements in testing practices using lessons learned and trend analysis.
What we're looking for
18+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, User Acceptance Testing, business process testing, or SAP application delivery.
Significant experience in enterprise testing, quality engineering, SIT leadership, or test governance for complex, integrated technology programs.
Strong knowledge of test strategy, requirements traceability, risk-based testing, test design, regression management, defect management, and release-readiness controls.
Experience establishing and governing SIT and UAT standards, readiness checkpoints, quality metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and leadership-level reporting.
Experience with enterprise test management and defect-tracking tools, preferably OpenText Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Jira (preferred).
Ability to interpret quality data, identify risk signals, challenge inconsistent evidence, and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, decision-framing, communication, and escalation skills.
Experience governing testing for a large-scale SAP transformation involving complex integrations and end-to-end business processes (preferred).
