Power IP and System Validation Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead post-silicon bring-up, characterization, and validation of analog and mixed-signal power-management IP.
• Develop and execute characterization plans to evaluate IP performance across voltage, frequency, temperature, and process conditions.
• Analyze silicon measurement data to tune operating parameters like voltage-frequency curves and power-gating sequences.
• Develop and maintain firmware routines and control algorithms for power-management IP during boot and runtime.
• Debug silicon failures by correlating laboratory measurements, firmware traces, register activity, and RTL behavior.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve characterization findings and support engineering change orders.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with post-silicon bring-up, debug, validation, and characterization (preferred).
• Experience characterizing analog or mixed-signal power-management IP on CPU, GPU, or other complex SoC platforms (preferred).
• Proficiency using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, network analyzers, and logic analyzers (preferred).
• Knowledge of power-measurement techniques, including on-die current sensing and voltage-drop measurement (preferred).
• Experience with firmware development using C or C++ for embedded microcontrollers or system-management units (preferred).
• Programming and scripting experience with Python, Linux Bash, Perl, Ruby, or comparable languages (preferred).
• Experience developing test automation, data-collection, and analysis solutions (preferred).
