As a Senior Signal & Power Integrity Engineer, you will join our dynamic engineering team to tackle complex system design challenges by developing innovative solutions. Your daily tasks will include conducting high-performance AI and graphics card power integrity simulations, collaborating with VLSI power teams to optimize PDNs across dies, packages, boards, and voltage regulators, and creating guidelines for package and board PDN reviews. You will also perform post-layout PI extractions and work in a cross-functional role to enhance package, PCB, ASIC, and mixed-signal circuit optimization. Ideal candidates have advanced degrees or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in electromagnetics, transmission line theory, and signal processing. Proficiency in tools like PowerSI, ANSYS HFSS/Q3D, SIwave, and SIMPLIS is essential, along with scripting skills for automation. This role involves deep knowledge of power integrity, die/package/board decoupling, and regulator modeling techniques to ensure optimal system performance at scale.
Develop creative Signal and Power Integrity solutions to complex system design challenges.
Conduct system-level power integrity simulations for high-performance AI systems, graphic cards, and Tegra systems.
Design and optimize power delivery networks (PDN) across dies, packages, boards, and voltage regulators.
Create and review package and board PDN guidelines, perform post-layout PI extractions.
Collaborate in a cross-functional role to enhance package, PCB, ASIC, and mixed signal circuit optimization.
What we're looking for
MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong background in applied electromagnetics, transmission line theory, signal processing.
Experience with power integrity for core and I/O power.
Understanding of die/package/board decoupling impacts on power supply noise.
Familiarity with SIMPLIS tool for regulator modeling and behavior analysis.
Hands-on experience with PowerSI, ANSYS HFSS/Q3D, SIwave, and Ansys 2D tools.
Expertise in regulator modeling and package/board/decoupling capacitor technology.
