The SIEM Architect joins the Corporate Information Security team to provide technical leadership as a subject matter expert for enterprise-wide log management platforms and supporting architecture. This role involves designing, implementing, and evolving scalable security monitoring solutions while producing high-level designs, low-level designs, and reference architectures. The architect will collaborate across engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and security operations teams to solve complex challenges in cybersecurity data management. Key technologies include CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto XSIAM, Google SecOps, and Elastic. Additionally, the role involves utilizing log data pipeline platforms like Cribl, Databahn, Onum, Bindplane, or Vector across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Preferred skills include Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies to automate deployments and manage multi-tenant implementations within a global enterprise environment.
Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise cybersecurity log data management and SIEM solutions.
Design, implement, and evolve enterprise-wide log management platforms and supporting architectures.
Develop high-level and low-level designs, reference architectures, and standards to guide global implementations.
Build secure, highly available, and maintainable solutions to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
Integrate and manage enterprise log data pipeline platforms to support scalable security monitoring.
Architect and optimize security operations platforms across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Create technical documentation including architectural diagrams, operating procedures, and use case documentation.
Translate complex business requirements into specific technical and architectural solution requirements.
What we're looking for
Must have at least 7 years of experience architecting and managing enterprise SIEM and log management solutions in complex environments.
Must possess deep hands-on expertise with platforms including CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto XSIAM, Google SecOps, or Elastic.
Must have experience implementing and integrating log data pipeline platforms such as Cribl, Databahn, Onum, Bindplane, or Vector.
Must demonstrate experience developing solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments.
Must possess strong technical documentation skills to create architectural diagrams, operating procedures, and use case documentation.
Preferred: Experience with multi-tenant implementations.
Preferred: Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Preferred: Experience automating deployments using scripts or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
