SerDes Circuit Design Engineer As part of the high-speed SerDes team, you will work with cross-functional Analog Mixed-Signal design teams to develop and execute state-of-the-art intellectual property for system-on-chip products. Your daily responsibilities include evaluating circuit topologies for SerDes PHY components such as Rx, CDR, Tx, bias generators, high-speed clock generation, and mixed-signal calibration. You will perform transistor-level implementation, behavioral modeling, and mask design while collaborating with architecture, SIPI, packaging, and board design teams to meet strict power, performance, and area goals. The role requires expertise in advanced CMOS FinFET technology, high-speed serial links, and protocols like PCIe, USB, DP, and MPHY. You will utilize tools such as SystemVerilog, Matlab, Python, and VerilogAMS for modeling, while applying knowledge of Tx/Rx equalization techniques, LMS based adaptive loops, and lab testing for high-speed serial I/O.
