The Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment is hiring a Sr Principal Project Manager to support test and flight execution under the direction of Flight Test and Electronic Ground Support Equipment Thread Leads. This role involves facilitating project integration between stakeholders, engaging with technical experts and government customers, developing mechanisms for monitoring progress, and managing schedules and budgets. The candidate will serve as an Earned Value Management focal point, assist in risk management efforts, and facilitate review boards to ensure efficient coordination with AVE stakeholders and suppliers. Key skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Atlassian Suite tools, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and a strong understanding of project management principles. Experience as a Control Account Manager and PMP certification are preferred. The position requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance and at least 4 years of experience leading projects.

What you'll do
Facilitate project integration between stakeholders to support FT-02 detailed schedule planning.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and resolving issues with various teams.
Review project status, manage schedules, and prepare comprehensive status reports.
Serve as Earned Value Management (EVM) focal supporting the Control Account Manager (CAM).
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and client satisfaction goals.
Facilitate review boards for engineering changes and maintain tracking systems for design actions.
What we're looking for
At least 4 years of project management or performance leadership experience.
Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of application.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Atlassian Suite tools.
Strong understanding of project management and earned-value management principles.
Experience working in a multi-team environment, managing schedules and risks.
Capable of independent technical work and high-level presentation skills.
PMP certification preferred but not mandatory.
