What you'll do
Manage project schedules and prepare status reports to ensure cost and schedule objectives are met.
Coordinate special projects, follow up on pending details, and ensure deadlines are adhered to.
Develop innovative solutions to complex problems while aligning with organizational goals.
Execute complex assignments independently, defining objectives and approaches without extensive direction.
Serve as the organization’s external spokesperson on major policy matters, advising senior leadership.
Monitor project progress using mechanisms like Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking.
What we're looking for
8+ years of project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active DoD Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
Proven track record in leading projects, driving performance against schedule, and executing project closeout.
Skilled use of Microsoft Office products including Project for managing tasks and schedules.
Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal direction and present work for high-level review.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills for effective collaboration across levels.
Experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
