As a Senior Systems Software Engineer – QoS, you will join the Quality of Service team to develop highly optimized software and algorithms for ultra-low-latency streaming applications. You will design, develop, and test high-performance C++ software while building and improving media streaming pipelines using technologies such as WebRTC, GStreamer, RTP/RTCP, and QUIC. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics across server, network, and media pipelines to optimize GPU and CPU utilization, while defining and implementing KPIs for streaming quality. You will collaborate with video encoding, cloud networking, and systems teams to solve technical challenges in high-fidelity streaming for use cases including automotive, robotics, and physical AI. Required skills include deep knowledge of operating systems, multi-threading, socket programming, and experience with Linux, Windows, and various video codecs like H.264, H.265, and AV1.
