Senior Systems Software Engineer, Wireless

What you'll do

• Build and optimize low-latency C/C++ software for real-time streaming over 5G and Wi-Fi networks.
• Integrate connectivity solutions with cellular, Wi-Fi, and platform APIs.
• Diagnose and fix latency, packet loss, and handover issues using telemetry and packet captures.
• Develop network quality KPIs and automated test frameworks to validate streaming performance.
• Create realistic wireless network simulations to test performance under challenging real-world conditions.
• Use data analysis and modeling tools to identify and improve real-world network behavior.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree, Ph.D., or equivalent experience in Computer Science, EE, or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of experience in wireless networking and software development.
• Hands-on experience with wireless communication technologies including 5G, Wi-Fi, or satellite connectivity.
• Familiarity with 5G core networks and practical 5G deployments across different spectrums and architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ software development, optimization, and debugging.
• Deep understanding of streaming and connectivity technologies including RTP, WebRTC, WebSockets, QUIC, SCTP, STUN/TURN, ICE, and NAT Traversal.
• Experience debugging connectivity or streaming issues using event logs, captured network data, telemetry, and network diagnostics.
• Experience with Android, iOS, Linux, QNX, embedded systems, 5G modems, automotive connectivity, telematics, or software-defined vehicles (preferred).
