What you'll do

Develop and review production software for Kubernetes networking, network plugins, and distributed control planes.
Build and operate secure, programmable cloud networking using Open vSwitch, OVN, C, and Go.
Define and evolve multi-tenant control-plane and data-plane architectures using OpenFlow and overlay technologies.
Implement automated unit, integration, system, performance, and scale tests within CI/CD workflows.
Resolve production incidents using packet captures, telemetry, profiling, and source-level debugging.
Engineer monitoring, tracing, and service-level visibility for production networks to improve reliability and performance.
Lead networking escalations and participate in the team's on-call rotation to support production services.
Translate infrastructure requirements into secure orchestration services, APIs, and component boundaries.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
12+ years of experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining production software in C and Go.
Experience using Bash and Python for test, diagnostic, build, or operational automation.
Concrete experience developing, integrating, and solving issues in Open vSwitch and OVN, including OpenFlow.
Production Kubernetes networking experience including container network interfaces, network policy, and network-plugins.
Strong Linux networking fundamentals including IP, TCP, UDP, routing, switching, and overlay networks.
Experience architecting distributed systems with secure service APIs, state management, and scalability.
Experience with large-scale cloud and accelerated virtualization systems including SR-IOV, RDMA, or SmartNICs (preferred).
