What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and maintain new functionality for routing, ACLs, QoS, and NAT.
Implement and maintain core Cumulus Linux code to translate control plane constructs into hardware data planes.
Develop data forwarding and NFV capabilities for Ethernet switching platforms and SmartNIC offloads.
Prototype and implement solutions for accelerating packet processing on Ethernet switching platforms.
Lead and guide multi-functional teams through large-scale feature development activities.
Take full ownership of tasks from inception to delivery with minimum supervision.
Debug and fix defects related to VxLAN-EVPN, policy-based routing, and other networking functions.

What we're looking for

BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of software development experience in data forwarding on Ethernet switching silicon and/or offload on SmartNICs.
Strong and validated experience in C programming.
Strong technical abilities in problem solving, design, coding, and debugging.
Previous experience leading feature development and taking full ownership of tasks from A-Z independently.
Experience with Merchant Silicon for Switching/Routing (preferred).
Contributions to SONiC, SwitchDev, or Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI) projects (preferred).
Experience accelerating packet processing on Ethernet switching platforms (preferred).
