What you'll do

Develop and execute a long-term roadmap for site reliability and infrastructure performance.
Design and implement company-wide SRE architecture, standards, and engineering innovations.
Create scalable incident management processes to reduce operational toil during rapid growth.
Establish production readiness standards by automating systems and implementing reliable design patterns.
Partner with product engineering teams on the design of large-scale distributed systems.
Lead blameless post-mortem processes to identify and learn from system incidents.
Mentor and lead other Site Reliability Engineers through technical guidance and advocacy.
Contribute code and participate in the architecture and design of core services.

What we're looking for

BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in system architecture and design for consumer-facing technology companies.
5+ years of experience as a senior-level technical lead or architect driving technical direction across multiple teams or projects.
Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling high-availability systems and platforms within multi-cloud environments.
Proven track record of excellent communication and collaboration skills across different teams and organizations.
Ability to contribute code and participate in architecture and design as a hands-on individual contributor.
