Senior Staff Software Engineer, Host Pricing & Settings

What you'll do

• Define architecture for moving models from development to production, including feature store design.
• Lead buildout of unified serving stack to streamline data scientists' path from training to production.
• Architect backfill infrastructure enabling rapid historical data simulation for model evaluation.
• Establish clear domain contracts between modeling and serving teams for independent progress.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and hands-on pairing on complex infrastructure challenges.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of backend or platform engineering experience in building production ML systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, Scala, and/or Python.
• Deep understanding of ML system design including feature stores and training/serving consistency.
• Experience with high-scale batch and real-time data pipelines for point-in-time correctness.
• Expertise in architectural patterns for large applications, efficient APIs, and multi-tenant serving infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives involving ML and platform engineering.
