Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Post Training

What you'll do

• Fine-tune state-of-the-art LLMs for diverse use cases and optimize them for high-performance deployment.
• Prototype, develop, and productionize LLM models and pipelines for both batch and real-time use cases.
• Create a multi-year tech roadmap to keep the team at the leading edge of AI technologies.
• Evaluate and select high-quality foundational models to ensure performance and efficiency.
• Drive key AI architectural decisions for products and contribute to the overall ML platform strategy.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data to improve foundation models for business use cases.
• Implement LLM alignment, optimization, RAG/Search, and automated evaluation and testing.

What we're looking for

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience developing machine learning models and products at scale from inception to business impact.
• Programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Proven record of training, fine-tuning, optimizing models, and inference run-time.
• Post-training experience in data processing for fine-tuning, responsible LLMs, alignment, reinforcement learning, or evaluation.
• Specialized experience in runtime optimizations, model quantization, compression, on-device inference, GPU inference, or kernel development.
