Senior Staff Client Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect and build scalable tooling and services for client platforms to establish end-to-end technical strategies.
• Implement codified principles to ensure repeatable, auditable, and version-controlled changes across a global environment.
• Set and enforce technical standards for platform automation while mentoring engineers on modern software practices.
• Partner with Security, Networking, and Product teams to improve reliability and developer experience.
• Serve as the primary architect for complex service delivery challenges and perform root-cause analysis.
• Influence and recommend changes to policies, standards, and architectural directions across the organization.
• Develop internal tools, CLI tools, or microservices to automate complex platform operations.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in Client Platform Engineering.
• Expert-level experience managing global endpoint fleets at scale.
• Mastery of Configuration as Code and Infrastructure as Code methodologies like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Proficiency in Git-based CI/CD workflows.
• Experience building internal tooling, CLI tools, or microservices to automate platform operations.
• Strong proficiency in software development using Python, Go, or Rust for systems engineering.
• Strong communication and partner management skills to align diverse teams on a common vision.
