Senior Software Engineer, Linux Platform

What you'll do

• Lead Linux and cloud infrastructure initiatives including architecture, provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Build automation using shell scripting, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Develop and maintain automated workflows for patching, security hardening, and lifecycle management.
• Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure while integrating cloud services with on-premises environments.
• Improve the reliability, security, maintainability, and operational standards of the platform.
• Support Linux environments across physical systems, virtual machines, and public cloud infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Linux systems, infrastructure, platform, site reliability, or cloud engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience administering, securing, and optimizing Linux environments.
• Proven cloud architecture and engineering experience in AWS or Azure.
• Strong shell scripting and automation skills, including a configuration management platform such as Chef or Ansible.
• Experience using Terraform to provision infrastructure.
• Experience with AI-native development and coding agents to multiply developer productivity.
• Expertise in Go or Python (preferred); experience using GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions (preferred).
