What you'll do

Own and evolve a bounded platform component, including service modules and SDK areas, for multi-tenant use.
Perform deep debugging across distributed services to drive compatibility-safe remediation plans and fixes.
Design and develop software solutions, systems, and services aligned with pre-defined architecture and business goals.
Implement targeted resilience, capacity patterns, and performance optimizations for platform surfaces.
Execute software and infrastructure deployments using automated tools and established change-management practices.
Monitor and maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of OCI File Storage Services.
Proactively identify operational toil and create automation, runbooks, metrics, and alarms to address recurring issues.
Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality and adherence to security standards.

What we're looking for

4+ years of experience supporting commercial software, cloud infrastructure, or storage services in a distributed production environment.
Strong knowledge of Linux, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and production operations.
Knowledge of storage systems, file systems, and distributed-system fundamentals.
Experience with automation or infrastructure tooling such as Python, Terraform, and Bash.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, incident-management, and ticket-resolution skills.
Ability to interpret service metrics, logs, alarms, and operational trends during reliability analysis.
Familiarity with Agile practices, change management, and production-readiness principles.
Experience with NetApp storage platforms, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or enterprise file-storage services (preferred).
