Senior Staff Business Data Analyst

What you'll do

• Design and build a coherent architecture of dashboards and reporting views for the sales organization.
• Build a semantic layer of reusable views and conformed dimensions to ensure consistent metric logic.
• Collaborate with Data Operations to design and shape the underlying data models for accounts, opportunities, and leads.
• Resolve complex identity and taxonomy issues for accounts, companies, and product lines across different systems.
• Define and defend canonical KPI definitions, including base queries, grains, and specific exclusions.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on coverage models, funnel diagnostics, and territory performance to influence business decisions.
• Set technical standards, review other analysts' models, and mentor team members to scale data capabilities.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data analysis.
• Expert SQL skills to develop complex queries and structures for high-volume datasets.
• Strong analytical data modeling skills including dimensional design, grain discipline, and conformed dimensions.
• Deep hands-on experience with a modern BI platform like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Direct experience with CRM data, with Salesforce strongly preferred (preferred).
• Experience building operationally dependent reporting, including breakage handling and change communication.
• Ability to translate vague business questions into defensible metrics for sales leaders.
• Experience with cloud warehouses, transformation frameworks, and Python (preferred).
