You will produce essential engineering artifacts like system diagrams and documentation while supporting verification and validation activities. The role requires proficiency in MBSE or digital engineering tools such as Cameo and SysML, familiarity with INCOSE standards, and experience with Agile methodologies. This position addresses the challenge of developing mission-focused systems within defense development lifecycles to ensure readiness for intended operational use.

What you'll do

Translate mission needs into clear requirements, system architectures, CONOPS, and interface definitions.
Define, decompose, and manage system-level requirements while maintaining traceability to subsystems and components.
Coordinate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to support system design, integration, and verification activities.
Conduct system level trade studies, performance analyses, and functional requirement allocations.
Produce and maintain engineering artifacts including system diagrams and architecture documentation.
Analyze performance data to identify technical issues and lead root cause investigations.
Support internal and customer design reviews through technical presentations and readiness reports.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or no degree and 10 years of experience.
Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance (or active within the last two years) and a favorable polygraph.
Experience with MBSE or digital engineering tools like Cameo or SysML (preferred).
Familiarity with INCOSE standards (preferred).
Broad knowledge of electrical, mechanical, RF, software, or hardware domains (preferred).
Experience using lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators (preferred).
Familiarity with Agile development approaches (preferred).
Security clearance.
