What you'll do

  • Manage and optimize Windows and Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Utilize AWS cloud technologies, specifically managing and hardening Amazon Machine Images (AMI).
  • Install monitoring agents and perform STIGing and hardening on AWS AMIs.
  • Update Packer configurations and scripts to facilitate AMI hardening and custom tool installation.
  • Develop an automated patching methodology using AWS Systems Manager.
  • Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
  • Monitor system performance and resource usage to identify problems and maintain resilience.
  • Maintain server systems and network infrastructure to support business continuity.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification such as CCNA-Security or Security+ CE.
  • Experience with AWS Amazon Machine Images (AMI), EC2, and automated patching using AWS Systems Manager.
  • Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Red Hat Linux and Windows systems.
  • Experience with STIGing, hardening AWS AMIs, and updating Packer configurations.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Gitlab Runner, continuous integration, and automated test frameworks (preferred).
  • Security clearance.
