What you'll do

  • Utilize AWS cloud technologies, specifically managing Amazon Machine Images (AMI) and EC2 instances.
  • Perform STIGing, hardening, and installation of monitoring agents on AWS AMIs.
  • Update Packer configurations and scripts to facilitate automated hardening and custom tool installation.
  • Develop and maintain an automated patching methodology using AWS Systems Manager.
  • Monitor system performance and resource usage to identify and resolve potential security risks.
  • Maintain server systems and network infrastructure to ensure business continuity and resilience.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 professional certification such as CCNA-Security or Security+ CE.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2 and Amazon Machine Images (AMI).
  • Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Red Hat Linux and Windows systems.
  • Experience with STIGing, hardening AWS AMIs, and developing automated patching methodologies.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Gitlab Runner, continuous integration, and automated test frameworks (preferred).
  • Security clearance.
