What you'll do

Design and implement new backend services and REST endpoints to support customization and UI teams.
Maintain and add features to existing Java-based backend services.
Manage and maintain the PostgreSQL database.
Create and update technical documentation regarding backend services and procedures.
Participate in pull-request based code reviews for personal and peer work.
Host and participate in Technical Exchange Meetings with functional teams and stakeholders.
Provide daily status updates through scrum meetings and JIRA/Bitbucket comments.
Ensure all software solutions meet specific mission, security, and performance requirements.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field and six years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Java (preferably version 11 or newer).
Experience writing unit tests, preferably using JUnit and Mockito.
Experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL.
Experience with Linux, GIT, and Java build tools like Maven.
Experience with continuous integration software such as Jenkins.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility.
U.S. citizens.
