What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and services on AWS.
Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
Support containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.
Integrate security, compliance, and governance standards into all AWS solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment, cloud infrastructure, and system performance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or DevOps-related roles.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline.
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security best practices.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
AWS certification such as Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer (preferred).
Hands-on experience with specific AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and Route 53 (preferred).
Experience with serverless architectures, event-driven design, microservices, or full-stack development (preferred).
Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog (preferred).
