Senior Specialist, Program Scheduler
The Senior Specialist, Program Scheduler joins the team to manage the development and maintenance of complex program schedules, including resource loading and Earned Value Analysis. This role involves creating integrated master schedules using IMP, SOW, and WBS while developing tools and reporting methods for standardized enterprise-wide resource management. The individual will perform critical path analysis, risk analysis, and variance metrics like SPI and CPI to identify performance gaps across finance, engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions. Key responsibilities include managing schedule changes, conducting root cause investigations, and leading status reviews with senior leadership. Required skills include proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and EVMS standards such as EIA 748-D. The role addresses the challenge of integrating multi-functional project plans within an agile environment to ensure alignment with internal procedures and program management excellence goals.
Develop and maintain complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to track progress and identify performance variances.
Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessments to resolve network logic conflicts.
Integrate program schedules across functional groups including finance, engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
Develop tools and reporting methods to standardize Program Planning and Scheduling processes.
Lead scheduling status reviews and provide briefings to senior leadership on project risks and milestones.
Ensure all programs comply with internal procedures and project control system guidelines.
What we're looking for
Must have a BS/BA with 6 years experience, an MA/MS with 4 years experience, an Associate degree with 8 years experience, or 10 years experience without a degree.
Minimum of six years of MS Project experience is required.
Experience creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and presenting project reports to management is required.
Experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) is required.
Experience in controlled Schedule (IMS) Change Management is required.
Experience in Monte Carlo Risk Analysis (Schedule Risk Analysis) is required.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
