The position requires expertise in RMF, ICD 503, NISPOM, and JSIG implementations to maintain security posture across Microsoft and Linux operating systems. You will solve complex security compliance problems by identifying control gaps and developing new standards to improve organizational resilience.

What you'll do

Maintain Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation for assigned systems.
Perform security control assessments and execute Continuous Monitoring Plans.
Develop device and system hardening guides following DISA and NIST guidelines.
Track and resolve Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Manage the incident response process for assigned areas of responsibility.
Lead inventory and asset management discovery and tracking activities.
Mentor junior ISSOs in the execution of their daily tasks.
Develop new concepts, standards, and training materials to improve organizational processes.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, a Graduate Degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
Willingness to submit to a full scope polygraph investigation.
DoD 8140.03 certification (preferred).
Minimum 8 years of experience including networking equipment, vulnerability scanning, log review, and SIEM tools (preferred).
Experience as an ISSO managing cybersecurity on classified systems under JSIG, NISPOM Ch8, ICD 503, and/or NIST 800-53 (preferred).
Experience developing and closing POA&Ms associated with A&A and project management processes (preferred).
Security clearance.
