Senior Software QA Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into comprehensive test cases.
• Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business.
• Create detailed test plans, development strategies, and project estimates.
• Assign and oversee the execution of test cases while providing coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Identify project obstacles or risks and provide regular status updates to the business.
• Ensure all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Proactively identify potential issues throughout all test phases and suggest system improvements.
• Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary.

What we're looking for

• Demonstrate experience in software development testing, automation, and software process improvement.
• Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases.
• Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business.
• Provide advice, ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship to team members.
• Identify project obstacles or risks and provide regular status updates to the business.
• Ensure all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to project timelines, budgets, and goals.
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries (preferred).
• Software development experience in Java, C#, Python, VBScript, etc. (preferred).
