As a Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer II on the AI Engineering Excellence team, you will help modernize how the commercial business operates by building agent-driven software development lifecycle workflows. You will be responsible for designing and implementing production-grade tools, services, and capabilities that automate planning, testing, deployment, and operations while improving developer productivity and ship velocity. The role involves translating ambiguous problems into technical plans, evaluating emerging generative AI models and frameworks, and managing the full lifecycle of 0 to 1 experiments. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of engineering experience is preferred.
Experience designing and delivering production software, developer tools, services, or platform components as part of a collaborative team (preferred).
Experience using generative AI models, coding agents, or engineering platforms to build software with awareness of reliability and security (preferred).
Experience improving developer workflows, engineering systems, operating practices, or developer experience using feedback or measurements (preferred).
Working knowledge in cloud platforms, distributed systems, developer tooling, identity/security, observability, CI/CD, testing infrastructure, or safe deployment.
Experience building products for developers, AI-enabled engineering workflows, internal developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems, make technical tradeoffs, and communicate ideas clearly while collaborating across team boundaries.
