What you'll do

  • Design and implement AI-native engineering workflows and platform capabilities within defined technical areas.
  • Analyze end-to-end software development workflows to identify opportunities for automation and agent-driven improvements.
  • Build production-grade tools and services for planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Write clear design documents and create maintainable implementation patterns for other teams to use.
  • Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and tools based on reliability, security, cost, and performance.
  • Execute 0-to-1 experiments from initial hypothesis to validated, production-ready capabilities.
  • Ensure the quality of delivered features including testing, observability, security, and incident response.
  • Mentor other engineers and provide practical guidance on adopting AI-native engineering practices.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of experience coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years of engineering experience is preferred.
  • Experience designing and delivering production software, developer tools, services, or platform components as part of a collaborative team (preferred).
  • Experience using generative AI models, coding agents, or engineering platforms to build software with awareness of reliability and security (preferred).
  • Experience improving developer workflows, engineering systems, operating practices, or developer experience using feedback or measurements (preferred).
  • Working knowledge in cloud platforms, distributed systems, developer tooling, identity/security, observability, CI/CD, testing infrastructure, or safe deployment.
  • Experience building products for developers, AI-enabled engineering workflows, internal developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems, make technical tradeoffs, and communicate ideas clearly while collaborating across team boundaries.
