The Senior Software Engineer/Developer joins the brokerage technology team to build and maintain enterprise applications and deployment pipelines. Candidates will utilize Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, and JIRA to support CI/CD and Agile workflows. The work focuses on solving complex business problems by developing scalable, high-performance microservices and data integrations to ensure FINRA regulatory compliance within the securities trading industry.
Build and maintain brokerage applications using Java and deploy automation pipelines.
Develop applications for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes.
Design and develop microservices using Spring, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
Deploy and maintain services in AWS using EKS, Lambda, and Docker.
Perform hands-on development, architecture design, and technical analysis for complex projects.
Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
Conduct all phases of testing, including user acceptance and post-installation testing.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and one year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
Experience designing and developing Java-based scalable and high-performance applications leveraging modern web frameworks for FINRA regulatory compliance.
Expertise developing microservices using Spring, Elastic Redis, NoSQL databases, SQS, EC2, and Kafka.
Expertise designing AWS Lambda functions, deploying services in AWS EKS, and using Docker and Kubernetes.
Expertise validating REST Web services using Ready API, Serenity REST Assured, Swagger, and Insomnia.
Proficiency in Java, Node, REACT, Hibernate, Maven, Sonar, Junit, Oracle Database, DataDog, and Splunk.
Experience with JIRA, asynchronous communication, event-driven processing, and IBM MQ.
