What you'll do

Design and build highly scalable distributed systems to process millions of requests per day.
Lead technical solutions for problems related to scale, monetization, and large-scale data processing.
Write and develop production code while conducting unit testing to ensure system sustainability.
Manage complex projects by translating business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
Provide technical guidance and documentation to small groups of engineers and offshore associates.
Troubleshoot production issues by performing root cause analysis and developing action plans for resolution.
Participate in the discovery phase of projects to create high-level designs with product and UX teams.
Respond to user questions and concerns while identifying short-term and long-term technical solutions.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of software engineering experience, or 5 years of software engineering experience.
Must have 6+ years of experience in Native App development.
Must have experience with RxSwift, Swift, UIKit, Foundation frameworks, xibs, and storyboard.
Must have 3+ years of experience in Cloud Components and Architecture.
Must have experience with large scale distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and designing/maintaining APIs for scalable platforms.
Must have experience with Kafka or other high volume-low latency messaging infrastructure.
Must have experience with Azure Cloud Stack or other cloud stacks.
Must have extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and micro-service architecture.
Must be familiar with CI/CD and unit testing.
Must have excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to broad audiences.
Master’s degree in a related field and 1 year of software engineering experience (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
