What you'll do

Develop and optimize the "libcudf" open-source library for GPU-based data processing.
Own the development of UcxExchange in Velox to facilitate GPU-to-GPU communication.
Drive the feature roadmap, performance improvements, and correctness for core components.
Optimize multi-node performance for analytical queries across on-prem clusters and public clouds.
Build highly optimized C++ and CUDA libraries for data loading, parsing, joins, and aggregations.
Implement features such as operator completeness, GPU memory oversubscription, and efficient CPU fallback.
Develop high-performance communication protocols and distributed algorithms for query engines.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
MS degree or PhD in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong Modern C++ programming skills.
Expertise in high-performance communication protocols and distributed algorithms for query engines (preferred).
Familiarity with RAPIDS cuDF (preferred).
Experience in distributed workflow development and debugging (preferred).
Passion for open-source software development and publishing work in technical blogs and conferences (preferred).
