What you'll do

Develop and maintain systems that allow customers to integrate data from cloud warehouses into the platform.
Build scalable backend services to process trillions of data points annually across various features.
Create tools for customizing the flow of data from external sources into the Braze platform.
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall technical strategy for the CDIT team.
Deliver end-to-end features including both back-end logic and front-end user experiences.
Build automated data pipelines and asynchronous processing systems using tools like Kafka, Airflow, or RabbitMQ.
Improve the comprehensiveness and ease of use of data ingestion and transformation systems.

What we're looking for

You must have at least 6 years of full-stack development experience with a focus on building scalable web applications.
You must be an experienced technical leader capable of driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy.
You must possess a strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
You must have excellent communication and organizational skills while working in an agile team environment.
Experience building software at scale with high volumes of data and traffic (preferred).
Experience building automated data pipelines or ETL applications using tools like Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, or RabbitMQ (preferred).
Professional experience with Python/Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake, microservice architecture, and distributed systems (preferred).
Familiarity with modern data warehousing, BI, and analytics (preferred).
