What you'll do

Develop and maintain scalable systems to ingest and transform large volumes of customer data.
Build backend services that process trillions of data points annually for various platform features.
Create front-end experiences as part of the end-to-end ownership of product features.
Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the CDIT team.
Design and implement automated data pipelines, asynchronous processing, and ETL applications.
Manage complex data flows from external sources into the Braze platform.
Solve high-scale engineering challenges involving distributed systems and high traffic volumes.

What we're looking for

You must have at least 6 years of full-stack development experience with a focus on scalable web applications.
You must be an experienced technical leader capable of driving architectural decisions and contributing to technical strategy.
You must possess a strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms.
You must have excellent communication and organizational skills while working in an agile team environment.
Experience building software at scale with high volumes of data and traffic is preferred.
Experience building automated data pipelines or ETL applications using tools like Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, or RabbitMQ is preferred.
Proficiency with Python/Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake, microservice architecture, and distributed systems is preferred.
