As a Senior Software Engineer - Host Access, you will join the ASE Security team to build and provide secure systems and infrastructure that fuel core services like iCloud, Music, Siri, and the App Store. You will own the design, implementation, and execution of software for security use cases, specifically authoring applications that perform security authorization and access controls at scale. Your daily work involves distilling complex requirements into functional software while collaborating with stakeholders to solve foundational infrastructure challenges. To succeed, you must be proficient in Rust, C++, C, or Go, and possess a deep understanding of distributed systems design patterns, Linux, and Shell Scripts. You will also leverage expertise in SSL, TCP/IP, X.509 certificates, Kubernetes, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and security across the global server infrastructure.

What we're looking for
Consistent record of delivering high quality enterprise software (5+ years of experience).
Experience writing applications in Rust, C++, C, and/or Go.

Knowledge of distributed systems design patterns, security implications, and common infrastructure components like network architecture and Kubernetes.
In-depth knowledge of technologies such as SSL, TCP/IP, caching solutions, X.509 certificates, and performance tuning.
Deep understanding of Object Oriented and SOA design concepts.
Experience with Linux and Shell Scripts.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience (preferred).
