Senior Software Engineer, Go/Golang

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend services in Golang for the observability platform.
• Develop high-throughput systems for ingesting, storing, and querying logs, metrics, and traces.
• Improve the performance and reliability of distributed systems supporting hyperscale observability workloads.
• Strengthen Kubernetes-based production systems using self-healing patterns, autoscaling, and resilient service design.
• Translate observability needs into robust platform capabilities and developer-friendly tools for service owners.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, production readiness efforts, and post-incident improvements.
• Evolve engineering standards and best practices for Go-based services in cloud-native environments.
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to support production reliability.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, backend infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming expertise in Golang for building reliable, scalable backend or infrastructure services.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts including scalability, concurrency, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production services in Kubernetes or similar cloud-native environments.
• Strong knowledge of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, telemetry pipelines, and production monitoring.
• Experience with technologies such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, Grafana, or similar observability and data infrastructure tools.
• Familiarity with high-throughput data pipelines, time-series systems, and large-scale microservices environments.
• Experience contributing to open-source infrastructure or building internal developer platforms (preferred).
