What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers in a distributed microservices environment.
Drive the architectural modernization roadmap to transition systems toward a streamlined microservices infrastructure.
Build resilient, highly scalable backend services for customer reward redemptions and gift card platforms.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS tools, Docker, and Kubernetes to improve system efficiency.
Write and evaluate code using programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, or Scala.
Partner with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory requirements and enhance the customer experience.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging technology trends.

What we're looking for

At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master's Degree (preferred).
9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Go, Python, or Java (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
3+ years of experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures (preferred).
