What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions meeting regulatory needs.
Drive the architectural modernization roadmap to transition toward a streamlined microservices environment.
Build resilient, highly scalable backend services for customer reward redemptions and gift card platforms.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, Go, and AWS tools.
Partner with cross-functional engineering, fraud-reduction, and customer experience organizations to build systems.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and evaluate code for technical quality.
Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and various RDBMS/NoSQL databases to manage distributed systems.

What we're looking for

At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
Master’s Degree (preferred).
9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Go, Python, or Java (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred).
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred).
3+ years of experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures (preferred).
