As a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend on the Consumer Payments team within Coinbase’s Consumer Product Group, you will be responsible for owning end-to-end frontend development for core crypto money movement experiences across web and mobile platforms. Your daily tasks include driving measurable improvements in customer journey latency and availability, building new user-facing features such as contact management systems and real-time transaction status trackers, and partnering with product, design, and backend engineering teams to reduce CX contact rates and enhance the overall customer experience. You will also identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks to improve reliability for millions of users. This role requires deep expertise in React and React Native, a proven track record of shipping consumer-facing products in high-scale environments, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while operating as a senior technical voice on your team.
