Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Platform Middleware

What you'll do

• Design and evolve middleware APIs for buffer sharing, cross-engine synchronization, and inter-process communication.
• Lead end-to-end feature development that meets ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434 safety and security standards.
• Optimize software performance for resource-constrained embedded environments and heterogeneous hardware.
• Co-design solutions with hardware and firmware engineers to unlock the potential of NVIDIA accelerators.
• Drive technical direction to simplify system architecture across CUDA, graphics, and camera frameworks.
• Implement automation, static analysis, fuzzing, and generative-AI tooling to improve software reliability and velocity.
• Mentor team members to grow technical depth and represent the platform in cross-organizational design discussions.

What we're looking for

• BS or MS in CS, CE, EE, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C and modern C++.
• Deep experience with embedded systems and system architecture, including multi-threaded software for CPUs and accelerators.
• Strong understanding of operating systems internals, including memory management, synchronization primitives, IPC, and drivers.
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel drivers, subsystems, or kernel-space development.
• Experience delivering safety-critical software using ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 61508, or equivalent processes.
• Experience with automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434), ASPICE, QNX, Integrity, or GPU programming (preferred).
