TL;DR · Senior Hypervisor and RTOS Engineer

As a Senior Hypervisor and RTOS Engineer within the NVIDIA DRIVE Software team, you will design and develop new features for the hypervisor and RTOS software stack while bringing up and optimizing these stacks on new Tegra SoCs. You will be responsible for developing high-integrity software using rigorous engineering, safety, and security practices to ensure real-time, highly available system components for autonomous vehicles. Your daily work involves debugging complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, RTOS, and virtualization layers while leading technical initiatives to align teams and coordinate execution. You will utilize C/C++ for systems programming and embedded software development. The role requires a deep understanding of operating-system internals and hardware-assisted virtualization. This position addresses the critical challenge of sharing and separating system resources while meeting strict automotive safety standards like ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
