What you'll do

Design and build gateway, runtime, and evaluation services to scale AI workloads to production.
Implement identity, quota, routing, caching, and failover controls to make AI spend attributable and governable.
Partner with security and infrastructure teams to establish guardrails for agentic workloads and tool access.
Create and monitor system metrics, alerts, and runbooks while owning the operational health of shipped services.
Set and improve code review and design standards through technical writing and team talks.
Mentor and grow engineers by driving best practices in design, coding, and testing.
Use AI tools and agentic workflows daily to multiply personal productivity in coding and operations.

What we're looking for

You have 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
You have a track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
You have practical experience building with LLMs, agents, or AI frameworks in production, including inference APIs, LLM gateways, or agent runtimes.
You understand AI usage and the infrastructure needed to support and leverage AI workloads across different disciplines.
You have experience defining technical plans for significant features with elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
You are proficient at making significant changes in large code bases and developing tools to do so safely.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration with a global engineering team.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
