What you'll do

Architect and implement low-latency, high-availability ad-serving systems in a cloud environment.
Build performant microservices and distributed data platforms capable of handling high volumes and QPS.
Engineer secure, scalable data processing pipelines to handle petabyte-scale datasets for indexing and retrieval.
Apply machine learning, NLP, and AI techniques to solve complex candidate retrieval and ranking problems.
Write clean, well-documented code while participating in peer code reviews.
Debug and resolve complex issues across large-scale distributed systems.
Mentor other engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
6+ years of industry experience architecting and developing internet-scale server software for Linux systems, including scalable micro-services or data-driven platforms.
Strong coding skills in Go, Java, Rust, C++, Scala, or a similar OOP/Functional language.
Experience with search technologies like Lucene, Solr, or Elasticsearch and NoSQL datastores such as Cassandra.
Proficiency with data processing technologies including Kafka, Spark, or Flink for petabyte-scale datasets.
Experience with AWS services such as Amazon S3, EC2, and EKS/Kubernetes.
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
Experience building ad-serving, recommendation, or large-scale retrieval systems; familiarity with real-time bidding and privacy-preserving design (preferred).
