Senior Software Engineer, Addressing Team

What you'll do

• Architect, program, and maintain core software services for large corporate network protection.
• Design and develop new APIs and data models to manage expanding addressing needs.
• Build automated systems that span the entire Cloudflare stack.
• Develop scalable platforms to meet the needs of various internal engineering teams.
• Write high-quality code for microservices primarily using the Go programming language.
• Maintain and optimize distributed systems to operate at a global scale.
• Debug complex problems and ensure the reliability of edge routers, servers, and DNS pipelines.

What we're looking for

• You must have experience writing high-quality code in one or more system programming languages such as Go, Python, or C/C++ (preferred).
• You must have experience with modern Unix/Linux development and runtime environments (preferred).
• You must have a solid understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking (preferred).
• You must have a basic understanding of the HTTP/S/TLS stack (preferred).
• You must have a working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL (preferred).
• You must have experience building and operating distributed systems (preferred).
• You must have experience working with Go (preferred).
• Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
