Senior Software Architect, Integration

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the end-to-end software architecture for assigned products and platforms.
• Define architectural principles, technology roadmaps, and non-functional requirements like security and scalability.
• Review and challenge architectural proposals to ensure alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide functional leadership and coaching to a team of software and test engineers.
• Ensure software compliance with medical device regulations including FDA, MDR, and ISO 13485.
• Align technical solutions with customer needs by collaborating with product, quality, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Enable teams to deliver high-quality software through clear guidance and Agile/SAFe practices.

What we're looking for

• You must have 8+ years of experience in software architecture and software engineering for complex, software-intensive systems.
• You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• You must have a proven ability to lead and influence senior technical professionals in a regulated environment.
• You must have strong communication skills and the ability to bridge business strategy and technical execution.
• You must be able to perform the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
• You must reside in or within commuting distance to Bedford, MA.
• You must have US work authorization.
• Experience working on medical devices with an emphasis on software is desired (preferred).
