As a Senior Sensor Hardware Safety Engineer on the Hardware Safety Engineering team, you will own the end-to-end hardware safety strategy for cameras, LiDAR, radar, and inertial measurement units across physical AI platforms. You will also evaluate third-party supplier safety manuals and reports to ensure robust integration into safety-critical automotive systems. Required expertise includes automotive sensor technologies, functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or IEC 61508, and experience with PCB or ECU design for embedded systems based on SoCs.
