You will utilize qualitative and quantitative methods including FTA, FMEA, and FMEDAs to ensure robust system performance.

What you'll do

  • Develop and align safety architecture and requirements across internal systems and customer platforms.
  • Propose new methods to analyze and demonstrate hardware fault metric compliance for AI-based compute.
  • Perform safety analysis using classical techniques like fault trees and model-based methods.
  • Derive application and system-level diagnostic measures based on existing hardware metrics.
  • Develop automation tools to support the analysis of complex, multi-layered systems.
  • Interpret internal and external safety documentation to identify improvements for meeting safety targets.
  • Integrate system, software, and hardware safety analysis methodologies to ensure overall metric compliance.

What we're looking for

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in systems architecture or related fields.
  • Experience performing safety analysis of embedded systems at both the Hardware and Software levels.
  • Experience working across company boundaries as development partners.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative safety analysis methods such as FTA, FMEA, and FMEDAs.
  • Familiarity with safety standards including ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and ISO/PAS 21448.
  • Experience in HW SoC or board level architecture, specifically Automotive ECU architecture.
  • Competence in tools and automation focused on safety analysis.
