The Senior Security IAM Engineer joins the Enterprise Security organization to manage complex directory architectures and services across various technologies. This role focuses on large-scale Entra ID implementations integrated with other directories, identity providers, applications, and automated workflows. You will architect solutions for internal customers, provide technical guidance, and engineer secure identity solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing federated environments, assessing SaaS implementations for security, and developing automation for repetitive tasks. The role requires expertise in Entra ID, Active Directory, 389DS, and LDAP, alongside knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Grafana, Splunk, and PowerBI. You will solve technical challenges regarding identity lifecycles, zero trust, and least privilege while ensuring compliance with global regulations. Key skills include understanding machine-to-machine connections via MFA, certificates, and tokens across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
Manage complex directory architectures including Entra ID, federated environments, and integrated identity providers.
Architect and implement secure identity solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.
Develop automated workflows and scripts using Python or PowerShell to handle repeatable tasks.
Assess SaaS implementations for identity integrations and general security posture.
Create metrics and dashboards to identify issues and inform data-driven decision making.
Provide technical guidance and strategy to internal customers regarding directory service requirements.
Resolve reported issues and provide technical support for various security technologies.
What we're looking for
Hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree in MIS, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering, or possess 10+ years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity.
Possess an in-depth understanding of Windows, Mac, and UNIX/Linux based systems, permissions, and interoperability.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of machine-to-machine and application-to-machine connections using MFA, certificates, tokens, and other methods.
Maintain a strong understanding of the identity lifecycle, secure by design principles, least privileged access, and zero trust.
Possess in-depth knowledge of managing and securing Entra ID cloud directories (AWS and Okta are beneficial) and integrating with traditional directories.
Exhibit professional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences including senior leadership.
Ability to teach and mentor others while fostering a collaborative environment and modeling leadership behavior.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python or PowerShell; experience with PKI, SSPM, and dashboarding tools are preferred.
